Part 1- Calculate your carbon footprint!
·        Don’t forget to select English before starting the activity.
Questions:
Ø What’s your carbon footprint?
My carbon footprint is 1.87 metric tons per year.

Ø What’s the average carbon footprint of a person?
The average footprint of a person in Chile is  3.87 metric tons.

Part 2 - Take these Recycling Quizzes
Questions:
Ø Hand washing dishes can use up to 50 % more of water than using an efficient dishwasher.

Ø Only about  8% of global energy comes from renewables.

Ø True or false? Appliances that are turned off don’t use any electricity.
False, when appliances are turned off the mostly are  in “Hibernate” mode, so  they still using energy for features like for features like clocks  and remote control sensors.

Ø Can you make paper out of hemp?
Yes, you can. In fact making paper out of hemp requires less land acreage to grow, has fewer chemical byproducts, and can be recycled more frequently than tree fiber.

Watch the video and choose the best 3 tips in your opinion.
1. Use a "Bag for life" (tote bags)  for carrying groceries instead of bags of paper and plastic.
2. Minimize trash by using minimal packaging.

3. Delete large or bulky items in authorized places for discard.
