When I was fourteen years old I had a lot of troubles with my mother, so I wanted to run away from my house. That year, 2010 I guess, a teacher at school gave me to read “Bad Vibes” by Alberto Fuguet. Instantly, I felt close to the protagonist, Matías.
In the book, Matías leaves his home because he had problems
with his family, but later when he is away from home and alone, he finds out
that running away doesn't solve his problems. So I thought that, maybe,
escaping from my home was not the solution and I didn't leave my house.
I feel close to this book because I had it for five years
with me, and really helped me in that bad time. Also, I love the awesome music
references that the book has like Pink Floyd and Faith No More.

I haven't read that book, but I read "Sobredosis", and I really liked it!
ResponderBorrarI love that book! I read it this year and I also felt close to Matías, but I found that the book itself seems to "The Catcher in the Rye" and it bothered me a little. However, both are great books.
